The Evansville Otters (42-46) jumped out to an early lead on the Road Warriors (8-21) and captured a 7-1 victory on Saturday at Bosse Field.

The game was decided quickly as the Evansville Otters exerted their will early with five runs in the first three innings.

An RBI single by Luis Uribe and an RBI double by Stephen Marino in the first inning helped the Evansville Otters put some runs on the board early.

Marino racked up four RBIs on three hits for the Evansville Otters.

Matt Zielinski's seven strikeouts helped the Evansville Otters to the victory. Zielinski allowed one earned run, three hits and three walks over seven innings.

Shawn Marquardt ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his fourth loss of the year. He allowed seven runs in five innings, walked one and struck out three.
