The Licking County Settlers (17-14) jumped out to an early lead, but were unable to hold on and lost 5-4 to the Lexington Hustlers (13-16) on Monday.
While the Licking County Settlers led until the sixth inning, the Lexington Hustlers worked their way back and took the lead on a two-run single by Taylor Rozier.
David Simmons led the Lexington Hustlers' offensive threat, as he got on base four times in the game. He scored two runs and had one RBI. He homered in the fifth inning and singled in the sixth and eighth innings.

Jacob Hall improved to 3-1 on the year by picking up the win for the Lexington Hustlers. He allowed four runs over six innings. Hall struck out two, walked three and gave up nine hits.
Josh Clemen ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just five innings, walked two, struck out six, and allowed five runs.
