Charlie McCready put together a nice outing. McCready held the Kansas Cannons hitless over two innings, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out one.
A bright spot for the Kansas Cannons in the defeat was Ryan Scoles, who allowed only three runs while striking out five.
Scoles ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his first loss of the year.
