The Kansas Cannons make the most of 4 hits in 4-3 victory over the Park City Rangers

The Kansas Cannons (3-0) and the Park City Rangers (1-1) both had scoring chances on Monday, but it was the Kansas Cannons that were able to capitalize on them as they pulled out a 4-3 win at Lawrence-Dumont Stadium.

The Kansas Cannons staved off the Park City Rangers as the Park City Rangers were unable to match the Kansas Cannons down the stretch.

The Park City Rangers scored on an RBI double by Mitch Osnowitz in the seventh inning and a two-run single by Osnowitz in the ninth inning. Unfortunately, the Park City Rangers weren't able to take the lead back.

Zak Mickens picked up the win for the Kansas Cannons. Mickens allowed three earned runs, nine hits and two walks while striking out six over eight innings of work.

Jacob Furr (0-1) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just 5 2/3 innings, walked three, struck out two, and allowed three runs.
