Mark Zagunis went 2-3 as the Baltimore Redbirds (28-13) took home a 5-0 victory over the Vienna River Dogs (23-18) at Calvert Hall HS on Friday.
He singled in the second inning and doubled in the sixth inning.The Vienna River Dogs couldn't get anything going so long as Trevor Kelley was on the hill. The Vienna River Dogs managed just two hits off of Kelley, who allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out four during his 3 1/3 innings of work.
Tyler Frazier pitched lights out for the Vienna River Dogs. The Baltimore Redbirds managed just two hits off of Frazier, who allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out two during his three innings of work.
Sean Keselica improved to 3-2 on the year by picking up the win for the Baltimore Redbirds. He struck out two, walked none and surrendered six hits.
Bret Williams (2-2) took the loss for the Vienna River Dogs. He lasted just two innings, walked none, struck out none, and allowed two runs.
