Tuesday was a great day for James Vasquez, as he hit two home runs to carry the Herndon Braves (15-24) to a 7-6 victory over the Youses Orioles (20-20) at Alan McCullock Field in seven innings.

The game was back-and-forth heading into the seventh, with five lead changes.

Chad Zurat recorded his first win of the year for the Herndon Braves. He allowed one run over one inning. He struck out one, walked none and surrendered two hits.

Lee Lawler (0-2) was the game's losing pitcher. He allowed seven runs in six innings, walked one and struck out four.
