The Toronto Maple Leafs (15-15) had a tough outing on Monday, as the Barrie Baycats (18-15) dominated in a 12-2 win at Schmidt and Shaw Stadium.

The Barrie Baycats scored five runs in the seventh on an RBI double by Matt Logan, a two-run home run by Kevin Atkinson, , and an RBI single by Matt Richardson.

Logan had three extra-base hits for the Barrie Baycats.

Glenn Jackson boosted his batting average thanks to a perfect 4-4 day at the plate to pace the Toronto Maple Leafs. He singled in the first, third, fourth, and sixth innings.

Brad Bissell recorded his fourth win of the year for the Barrie Baycats. He allowed two runs over six innings. Bissell struck out one, walked three and gave up nine hits.

Adam Garner (1-7) was the game's losing pitcher. He allowed six runs in five innings, walked none and struck out two.
