Paul LaMantia was cold coming off the bench, but LaMantia warmed up quickly as LaMantia stroked a key pinch-hit single in the four to lead the London Majors (21-14) to a 9-2 win over the Kitchener Panthers (17-19) on Sunday at Jack Couch Park.
With the London Majors trailing by one in the fourth inning, LaMantia came to the plate and singled.

Chris Chambers got the win, running his season record to 1-0. He allowed two runs over nine innings. Chambers struck out three, walked two and gave up six hits.
Ryan Schwenn couldn't get it done on the bump for the Kitchener Panthers, taking a loss. He allowed nine runs in five innings, walked none and struck out one.
The London Majors were sparked by Derrik Strzalkowski and LaMantia, who teamed up for eight hits and seven RBIs.
