The London Majors need walk-off double to beat the Hamilton Cardinals, 8-7

A walk-off double from Chris Stewart brought home the winning run for the London Majors (21-15) in an 8-7 victory over the Hamilton Cardinals (6-30) at Labatt Park on Tuesday.

Stewart was hot from the plate for the London Majors. Stewart went 2-5 and drove in one. He singled in the fifth inning and doubled in the ninth inning.

Cleveland Brownlee racked up two RBIs on three hits for the London Majors. He singled in the fourth, seventh, and eighth innings.

The Hamilton Cardinals' Nate Smith was perfect at the dish, going 4-4. He doubled in the second inning and singled in the fourth, sixth, and eighth innings.

Taylor Carr improved to 1-0 on the year by picking up the win for the London Majors. He struck out two, walked one and surrendered two hits.

Johnathan Solazzo (0-1) took the loss for the Hamilton Cardinals. He lasted just one-third of an inning, walked none, struck out none, and allowed one run.
