The Guelph Royals seize victory thanks to late, drop the London Majors 12-7

After five lead changes in Thursday's game at Labatt Park, the Guelph Royals (13-13) finally pulled out a 12-7 win over the London Majors (14-9).

The Guelph Royals took the lead in the fifth inning and held on for the victory. Scored Steve Coates and gave the Guelph Royals the lead for good.

Justin Interisano racked up four RBIs on three hits for the Guelph Royals. He doubled in the fourth and fifth innings and singled in the eighth inning.

Steve Froese racked up three RBIs on three hits for the London Majors. He homered in the fourth inning and singled in the second and seventh innings.

Roberto Suppa improved to 2-1 on the year by picking up the win for the Guelph Royals. He allowed three runs over five innings. Suppa struck out two, walked six and gave up four hits.

Jordi Amargos ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his third loss of the year. He allowed seven runs in four innings, walked five and struck out one.
