Three first-inning runs helped the Burlington Twins (8-14) to a 10-6 win over the Ottawa Fat Cats (13-13) at Nelson Park on Saturday.
Peter Bako racked up three RBIs on three hits for the Burlington Twins. He doubled in the third and fourth innings and singled in the fifth inning.
Aaron Boag put together a nice outing. Boag held the Ottawa Fat Cats hitless over 2 2/3 innings, allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out two.
Eitan Maoz racked up four RBIs on two hits for the Ottawa Fat Cats. He doubled in the fifth inning and homered in the sixth inning.
James Amelotte couldn't get it done on the hill for the Ottawa Fat Cats, taking a loss. He allowed eight runs in six innings, walked two and struck out four.
