The Hamilton Cardinals (6-30) didn't have a chance on Tuesday, as the London Majors (21-15) won in blowout fashion, 8-2 at Labatt Park.
The London Majors scored two runs in the seventh on a solo home run by Chris Stewart and an RBI single by Cleveland Brownlee.
Stewart reached base two times. He scored one run and had one RBI.
Josh Palmer had an impressive outing against the Hamilton Cardinals' lineup. Palmer held the Hamilton Cardinals hitless over three innings, allowed no earned runs, walked three and struck out three.
Geoff Mann got the win, running his season record to 3-1. He allowed two runs over five innings. Mann struck out four, walked three and gave up five hits.
Brett vanPelt was charged with his seventh loss of the year. He lasted just 4 2/3 innings, walked three, struck out seven, and allowed five runs.
