The Burlington Twins (6-12) weren't able to overcome the big hole they dug themselves into against the Ottawa Fat Cats (12-11), and the Burlington Twins lost 4-3 to the Ottawa Fat Cats after falling behind by three runs in the third inning.

The Burlington Twins scored two runs in the fourth on a sacrifice fly by Greg Densem and an RBI single by Darryl Pui. Unfortunately, the Burlington Twins weren't able to take the lead back.

Brett Sabourin looked sharp on the mound. Sabourin held the Burlington Twins hitless over two innings, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out two.

James Amelotte recorded his third win of the year for the Ottawa Fat Cats. He allowed three runs over five innings. Amelotte struck out four, walked one and gave up six hits.

Connor Smith (2-2) took the loss for the Burlington Twins. He lasted just six innings, walked none, struck out two, and allowed four runs.
