An ace performance by Brandon Huffman carried the Ottawa Fat Cats (11-11) to an 11-2 win over the Burlington Twins on Saturday at Ottawa Stadium.

Huffman's nine strikeouts helped the Ottawa Fat Cats to the victory. The Ottawa Fat Cats' pitcher tossed seven innings of shutout ball and allowed only four hits.

The Ottawa Fat Cats continued to pile on the runs until the end of the game. The Ottawa Fat Cats scored three runs in the final three innings to cap the blowout win. The Ottawa Fat Cats scored five runs in the fifth on a single by Eitan Maoz, , a double by Matt McGovern, an RBI single by Joe Stone, , and an RBI single by Jason Coker.

McGovern racked up two RBIs on three hits for the Ottawa Fat Cats.

Matthew St. Kitts couldn't get it done on the mound for the Burlington Twins (6-11), taking a loss. He lasted just four innings, walked one, struck out six, and allowed five runs.
