Fans were treated to a high-scoring affair Wednesday as the Toronto Maple Leafs (7-11) outscored the Hamilton Cardinals (4-14) 12-8.

The two teams combined for 21 hits in the game.

Jordan Castaldo racked up three RBIs on four hits for the Toronto Maple Leafs. He doubled in the first inning and singled in the fourth and sixth innings.

Daniel Jagdeo racked up four RBIs on two hits for the Hamilton Cardinals. He singled in the third and seventh innings.

Tony Kirbis got his first win for the Toronto Maple Leafs despite allowing five runs over six innings. He struck out nine, walked seven and surrendered four hits.

Brett vanPelt ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his fourth loss of the year. He allowed nine runs in four innings, walked none and struck out three.
