The Flyers got their third consecutive win tonight beating the St. Thomas Stars 8-1. Mitch Amante had a pair of goals while Alex Seguin, Chris Scott and Kyle Quick each had one goal and two assists. Kyle Shaw, Daniel Robertson and Graham Kelsey also scored for the Flyers. Goalie Trevor Wheaton remains unbeaten, picking up his 6th win of the season. 

Prior to tonight's game Wheaton was presented with the award for GOJHL Western Conference Goaltender of the Month for September and Jake McGhee received the award for Defenseman of the Month. 

The Flyers next game is on Saturday when they will take on Niagara Falls in St. Catharines as part of the GOJHL Showcase Event.
