Derby, Kan. -- The Derby Twins jumped on the Kingman Islanders early and late to cruise to a 12-2 win last night (July 17) at Panther Park in Derby, Kan.
The Twins scored three runs in each of the first two frames to build a 6-2 lead.
Derby then added a run in the sixth before icing the victory with a five-run seventh inning.
Justin Harris fueled the Twins with a pair of hits, three RBIs and three runs scored.
Trevor Baugh went 3-of-4 with two RBIs, while Brett Burrell also had two hits, two RBIs and scored three times.
Telo Arsiaga started for the Twins and lasted five innings, allowing two earned runs with five strikeouts to earn the win.
Jesus Cruz drove in both of the Islanders' runs.
Derby (24-12) is set to host Kingman (16-18) again tonight (July 18).
