The Mass Bay Chiefs 2011 Elite Team defeated the 2010 GS Wild 4-2 (semifinal) and the 2010 Wachusett Wolfpack 6-2 (finals) to win the PHL Championship Sunday. The Chiefs opened the scoring on the PP at 10:20 in the 1st - G-CJ Morrow, A-Braydon Connors, A- AJ Couture as the first period ended 1-0. The Wolfpack struck at 14:30 of the second period when Aiden Payette put home a short handed goal. The Chiefs quickly responded as the penalty expired at 13:10 of the 2nd - G-Ryder McGonagle, A-CJ Morrow A-AJ Couture which proved to be the game winner. The Chiefs wouldn't look back from there with two more 2nd period goals 6:30 - G- Gennaro Ruggiero A-Braydon Connors and 0:05 G- Lucas Silva, A-Joseph Pasquerella.

The Chiefs found the back of the net two more times in the 3rd - 9:30 - G-Morrow, A-McGonagle and 8:10 G-A.Martel, A-Colton Martel. Goaltender Thomas Mahoney was solid in net as the Chiefs repeated as Champions!

The 2011 Elite team finished with a final record of 34-9-6 with (315) Goals For and (145) Goals Against finishing with a MHR of #25 in Massachusetts and #101 in the Country
