NEW DIRECTION FOR THE CLARINGTON EAGLES!
Date: Aug 12, 2021
The PJHL announced on August 25th that the league has targetted December 1st as the first day of the 2020-2021 Jr. C hockey season, subject to approval from the Canadian government, as well as Public Health and Hockey Canada authorities. Details of the plan center around a season of at minimum 24 games per team, with the goal of holding playoffs and awarding a Schmalz Cup at the conclusion of the year.
"Collectively, our members have worked diligently to be prepared for a safe return to competition when possible," said PJHL Chair Sandra Neubauer. "By setting a targetted start date, we are supporting our players, teams, and communities to effectively plan to resume the game."
With the PJHL's announced opening date, planning for the 2020-2021 season will continue for the Panthers, as we prepare for the upcoming season. You can contact the Panthers by reaching out to GM Alex Guiney at alexguiney1@gmail.com for more information pertaining to the Panthers' upcoming season.
