Joe Update - Wednesday
This man right here is a superhero! I received a call around noon letting me know that .... SURPRISE .... they have removed Joe’s tube and he is off of the ventilator! The best part, no April Fools here! He fought his way off of that ventilator a good 3-5 days early! THEN, I get a call a few hours later that they are moving him to a normal floor, a regular room! Miracles today!
Joe was just able to call! Best call ever! I made sure to let him know that everyone has taken such great care of myself and the kids and ask made sure he knew how loved he is! His phone is dead, and I refuse to bring him a charger because I want him to only rest. For those of you who really know Joe, if he had his phone, he would be answering work emails, paying bills and watching old Live Barn videos!
We do not have a time frame of his stay. He sounds rough, very wheezy and the cough is horrible but he is on the mend. He said he doesn’t wish this on anyone. I will continue to update on his status!
Once again, thank you EVERYONE for your love and support. Truly overwhelming.
