Congratulations to Nick, Jake and Jared!
Also, former Chiefs; Chris Grout (7G, 9A, 16PTS), Nick Lennon (4G, 7A, 11PTS). Matt Miller (1G, 7A, 8PTS), Evan Danjou (3G, 4A, 7PTS), Cam Burns (1G, 3A, 4PTS) and Tyler Boudrault (Senior Goalie) are all having great years.
Senior Chris Grout's hard nose two way hockey has earned him a spot on the Tech's first line and i s 4th in the team in scoring. Senior Assistant Captain Nick Lennon, who is a big presence patrolling the Tech blue line has also chipped in nicely in the offensive zone and is tied for points by a defenseman. Junior defenseman Matt Miller has been solid in his regular role in the coaching staff's top 4, also posting 8 points which lands him in 2nd for scoring by a defenseman. Senior defensman Evan Danjou has picked up right where he left off, his offensive capabilities have landed him on Essex Tech's top power play unit. Evan has contributed nicely with 3G and 4A for 7 points. Senior Forward/Defenseman Cam Burns battled through injury all season but has still contributed on the score sheet netting a big goal in the Mulloy Tournament to seal the championship for the Hawks. Senior goalie Tyler Boudreault has been ready to jump in if the staff needs him behind starter Jared McLaughlin.
We would also like to recognize Essex Tech's CAC All Star SO Forward #10 David Egan (19G, 15A, 34PTS) and CAC All Star SO Forward #7 Jonathan Daley (6G, 11A, 17PTS) for their tremendous seasons and All Star selections!
