Parkhill – The North Middlesex Stars are pleased to announce the signings of both Donny Manzara and Matt Atkins for the 2019-20 season.

Both Manzara and Atkins come to the Stars via the Lambeth Lancers who have opted to take the year off.

“We’re excited to have both Donny and Matt sign with the club,” said President and Director of Hockey Operations, Todd Garner. “We know we’re getting great players and people both on and off the ice.”

Manzara, a London product, tallied 14 goals and 17 assists for the Lancers last season. In addition to his productive regular season, Donny furthered his overall stats with 3 goals and 4 assists in 10 games-played during the 2018-19 post-season.

Atkins, a grad of the Guelph Jr. Gryphons AAA program, contributed 5 goals and 1 assists in 12 games-played during a short stint of regular season play. He added to his overall season tallies via 1 goal and 1 assist in 11 games-played during the post-season.

The Stars have their short term sights set on Saturday, August 24 as the Mooretown Flags of the PJHL Stobbs Division will make their way to Strathroy for a 7:30PM puck-drop.
