The OWHA is saddened by the loss of the Mélisa Kingsley of the Sudbury & District Girls Hockey Association alumna. 

Mélisa has been a member of the OWHA for the last 11 years.  She started playing with the Sudbury Lady Wolves in 2007 with the Atom BB team, where she advanced to play on the Midget AA team winning OWHA Provincials and the Esso National Championship in 2015.

She moved from Sudbury to Ottawa where she played with the CIS Ottawa Gee Gees.

Mélisa was a wonderful player and person. We thank her for brightening the world and leaving a positive legacy.
