Colin Van Rooyen, 18, will also return to the Stars for a second season following an interesting rookie season which saw the agitator from Strathroy leave his mark as not only one of the league’s best agitators, but also someone who can score and contribute offensively. Finishing his year second in team rookie scoring, Van Rooyen won the ‘Playoff MVP’ award for his timely contributions during the Stars playoff run. As a rookie, Van Rooyen lead the Yeck Division in penalty minutes beating the second-place finisher in that category by almost 40 minutes.
