The Windsor Clippers defeated the Orangeville Northmen 9-8 in the opening game of the western conference quarter final series on Sunday night. Game two of the series will be played in Orangeville on Tuesday night, and game three back at Forest Glade arena on Thursday evening. Both games are at 8:00 pm.

Noah Bushnell and Chase Kavanaugh scored three goals each to lead the Clippers. Blain Wallace, Brendan Wallace and James Morgan rounded out the scoring. Carson Hebner earned the win in goal for the Clippers, stopping 30 of 38 Northmen shots.
