The 2000-01 Ottawa Capitals went a perfect 7-0-0 and defeated the Whitby Wildcats 1-0 in the final game to be crowned this years Peterborough Tournament of Champions winner!  Forward Cameron Last, who plays for HEO Midget AAA's Rockland Nationals, was named Major Midget Champion MVP of the Tournament.

The 2000-01 Ottawa Ambassadors also put on quite a showing at the tournament, making it to the Semi Finals and finishing with a 5-1-0 record.
