HEO Midget AAA is pleased to announce the CCM Performers of the Month for December.

Forward of the Month – Reid Russett – Smiths Falls Bears Midget AAA

The Ottawa, ON native tallied 6 goals, including 2 game-winners and a hat trick performance Vs Pembroke, while totaling 10 points in 6 games of action.

On the season, Russett leads all HEO Midget AAA skaters with 15 goals and 36 points in 26 games.

Defenseman of the Month – Nolan Seed – Smiths Falls Bears Midget AAA

The Newboro, ON native led all league defenders in scoring with 7 assists in 6 games, picking up multi point performances Vs Brockville and Carleton Place.

In 29 games this season, Seed leads all HEO Midget AAA defensemen with 18 points (2G, 16A).  He recently suited up for the Ottawa Ambassadors, representing HEO in the Marlies Holiday Classic.

Goaltender of the Month – Carter Cummins – Navan Grads Midget AAA

The Ottawa, ON native went 2-0-1-0 in 3 starts in December, posting a league best .947 SV%, a 2.00 GAA, and 1 shutout. He also put on a clinic in a tough overtime loss Vs 1st place Rockland where he made 49 saves.

Through 10 starts this season, Cummins is 6-3-1-0 with a .937 SV%, 2.01 GAA, and 1 shutout.
