Mount Brydges, Ontario – It promises to be a busy Thanksgiving weekend in Bulldogs Country as the team will play hosts twice. On Friday night, the Lambeth Lancers are in town. The Lancers are currently nestled in second place in the PJHL Yeck Division and are sporting a healthy 5-2-0 record. The Lancers are also unbeaten (2-0-0) on the road so far. The Dogs will then welcome Thamesford to the Tri Township Arena for a Sunday night scrap with the Trojans. The Trojans are in good form heading into Sunday’s dance as the team have enjoyed back-to-back victories over the Lucan Irish (7-3) and the North Middlesex Stars (4-3 OT).

The Bulldogs are looking to illuminate all memory of the 6-0 loss to the Lancers on September 22, while the Trojans have been the Dog’s only 2017-18 prey, so far, via a 4-2 win on September 17.

Game 1: Friday, October 6 – Bulldogs vs Lancers – 8:15PM

Game 2: Sunday, October 8 – Bulldogs vs Trojans – 7:30PM

Bulldogs Add Team Photographer

Mount Brydges, Ontario – On Thursday, October 4, the Mount Brydges Bulldogs Junior C Hockey Club welcomed the photography skills of social media director, website maintainer, and article writer Nick Sakellis.

Nick joined the Bulldogs in February of 2016 and has overhauled the Dogs social media and web presence. Sakellis (age 27) is from nearby London and is a graduate of the former Southern Ontario Junior Hockey League, London Jr. Knights minor hockey system, and Western University. In a give-back effort, Nick has also coached in the Jr. Knights minor hockey system.

Nick is currently furthering his studies in Geographical Information Systems and Urban Planning at Fanshawe College while helping out with the Bulldogs.

“My time with the Bulldogs has been nothing short of incredible,” said Sakellis. “From my first board meeting, representing the Bulldogs at this past OHA AGM, taking on all social media and website responsibilities, and getting to know the town better, I can honestly say that I have completely fallen for the town and surrounding area. It’s a great place for hockey at any level and the people are amazing. Adding the photography responsibility is no issue. I am more than happy to chip in when I can for the team.”

Be sure to keep to keep an eye on the Bulldogs website and social media outlets for photos!
