A tough 10 minute span in the 2nd period cost the Bears today as they lost 6-3 in Kemptville to the 73s.

Kemptville jumped ahead 1-0 at the 57 second mark of the 1st period as Derek Osik scored on Brad Dobson (Moose Factory ON). The Bears settled down and outshot the 73s 15-10 in the 1st period but were unable to beat Peter Brooks. The Bears took 3 of 5 penalties recorded in the opening period.

Garvey's 8th goal of the year was assisted by Michael McKenney (Smiths Falls ON) & Kris Lalonde (Almonte ON). Kemptville outshot the Bears 14-7 while the Bears took 4 of the 6 penalties taken in the final period.
