Football New Brunswick (FNB) is pleased to announce the hiring of Chris Hopkins, as its new Technical Director. Chris is from the Saint John region and played in the Fundy Minor Football Association from Peewee to Bantam. From then he went on the play for Kennebecasis Valley High School, was a member of the 2003 Under 19 Provincial Team and played 5 years at Mount Allison University.

His passion for football has translated to a long and impressive coaching resume. Chris has experience coaching at a variety of levels including provincial, national and international events. Chris’s coaching highlights include 8 years coaching in the High School Football League, 5 years coaching at Mount Allison University at various levels, 6 years with the New Brunswick U18 team (3 as head coach) and 2 years coaching withTeam Canada at the International Bowl.

Chris has also been heavily involved with our NCCP coaching clinics, offering expertise at various positions. He is a certified Competition Development coach, the highest certification available through the NCCP program.

Chris has been an outstanding volunteer in the football community for a long time. FNB is excited to be able add to their staff someone with the experience, passion and enthusiasm Chris possesses.
