  • Jacob James singled in the seventh inning to give the Pilots a 2-1 lead. Ty Deckwa followed suit with another RBI single and that's all the Pilots would need to secure the first ever Corn Belt League Championship.

  • Trevin Stephens sealed the deal when he racked up two RBIs on an eighth inning triple to push the lead to 5-2.
  • Shea Bennett got the win as he pitched one shutout inning. Bennett struck out one, walked none and gave up no hits.

  • Although the Black Sox started the game with a 1-0 lead, the Pilots, like they've done all season, stayed resilient and made a comeback.
