Pompano Beach Clippers outfielder JP Sorma has set the all time SFCBL home run record blasting his 13th home run to deep right center today in an afternoon contest vs the Boca Raton Blazers at Little Fenway.  The record was previously held by Brandon Thomasson who was drafted by the Kansas City Royals in the 9th round in 2014.  The Ohio native spent his freshman year at Ohio State University and transferred to Ashland University where this past season he led his team with 17 HR's and 59 RBI's.  Currently he is leading the 19th nationally ranked Pompano Beach Clippers offense and also leads the SFCBL in HR's with 13, RBI's with 43 and is hitting .353 on the year.

Tomorrow the slugger will represent the Clippers in the 2016 SFCBL All-Star Game at Florida Atlantic University at 2PM where he will start in left field and hit in the 4 hole.
