Both the Baltimore Dodgers (9-12) and the Baltimore Redbirds (14-4) put runners aboard on Wednesday, but it was the Baltimore Dodgers that were able to take advantage, pulling out a 4-1 win at Calvert Hall HS.
McGinn picked up the win for the Baltimore Dodgers. McGinn pitched seven innings and allowed one earned run, seven hits and one walk while striking out five.
Martin Costes paced the Baltimore Redbirds at the plate. Costes went 2-2 and scored one run. He singled in the second inning and doubled in the fourth inning.
Mark Curtis ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just three innings, walked one, struck out two, and allowed four runs.
