BURLINGTON wins tough contest against CAMBRIDGE, 3-2

Natasha Costello (A) grabbed one point to lead CAMBRIDGE to a 5-2 victory over BRAMPTON.
In the losing effort, BRAMPTON was paced by Jamie Bulleid, who registered two goals. Bulleid scored the first of her two goals at 7:05 into the first period to make the score 1-0 BRAMPTON. Nicole Augello picked up the assist. Bulleid's next tally made the score 3-2 CAMBRIDGE with 14:03 left in the second period. Jaclyn Glover provided the assist.
CAMBRIDGE also got points from Brooke Schroeder, who also finished with one goal and one assist and Rachael Irvine, who also tallied one goal and one assist to lead the team in points. CAMBRIDGE also had goals scored by Alyssa Chiarello (A) and Abby Lafreniere, who each put in one. In addition, CAMBRIDGE received assists from Shelby Wood, Kati Tabin, Meghan Anton, and Emily Woodhouse (A), who contributed one each.
More assists for BRAMPTON came via Meghan Subic, who had two.
Caitlin Kroetsch recorded 18 saves for CAMBRIDGE. CAMBRIDGE incurred four minutes in penalty time with two minors. Allison Small made 17 saves for BRAMPTON on 21 shots. BRAMPTON totaled seven minutes in penalty time with one minor and one major and went 0-for-2 on the power play.
