BURLINGTON wins tough contest against CAMBRIDGE, 3-2

CAMBRIDGE's Alyssa Chiarello (A) scored 1:56 into overtime to beat BRAMPTON, 5-4 (OT).
CAMBRIDGE nearly gave up a two-score lead. CAMBRIDGE made the score 4-2 on a goal by Chiarello (A) at 12:22 in the second period. BRAMPTON pulled to within 4-3 on a goal by Meghan Subic at 7:54 in the third period.
CAMBRIDGE got the win behind a great game by Chiarello (A), who had two goals and one assist.
CAMBRIDGE also got points from Annie Berg, who also registered one goal and two assists, Rachael Irvine, who also had one goal and one assist, and Emily Woodhouse (A), who also tallied one goal and one assist. Other players who recorded assists for CAMBRIDGE were Brooke Schroeder, Morgan Rolph (A), and Nicole Zabel, who each chipped in one.
BRAMPTON was helped by Kaitlyn Uyeno, who finished with one goal. Uyeno scored 12:58 into the first period to make the score 2-1 CAMBRIDGE. Jamie Bulleid assisted on the tally. BRAMPTON additionally got points from Subic, who also grabbed one goal and one assist. BRAMPTON also had goals scored by Brittney Gout (A) and Kaitlyn Perichak, who scored one goal each.
