Athlete of the Week

Calla Roney, WSS softball, freshman

WSS went 3-0 during the week beating Central A&M 10-3, Shelbyville 6-4 and Okaw Valley 14-4. Roney was 8-for-12 at the plate with 3 runs, 10 runs batted in, two doubles and a stolen base. On top of that she was 2-0 in the pitcher's circle. She pitched 15 innings and allowed 11 hits on six runs with 6 walks and 18 strikeouts and an earned run average of 2.80.
