Big Bear Tournament in Ann Arbor, Michigan


Congratulations to the players and family members of North Pittsburgh Wildcats Peewee 2003-2.   The squad won the Big Bear Presidents Day Tournament held in Ann Arbor over the holiday weekend!

The team defeated the Southpoint Capitals from Ontario and the Columbus Capitals in round robin play.  They lost to the West Kent Hawks by one goal but still advanced to the finals, where they avenged the loss to the Hawks by scoring on the 6th shot of an overtime shootout for the win.

Ethan Koontz was named tournament MVP.

The team is coached by Todd Simmons with help from Doug Barnes, Eric Holby, and Dom Perry.   The team is managed by Charlie and Misty Morse.
