The Napanee Raiders pulled out a 4-3 (OT) overtime victory over the Picton Pirates on a clutch goal by Jordan Cannons.
Austin Boulard had two goals to lead Napanee to victory. Boulard's tallies came on the power play at 19:59 into the first period to make the score 1-1 and short handed 4:26 into the third to make the score 3-2 Napanee.
Picton was unable to stop the Raiders from sending pucks towards the net, and Napanee eventually piled up 38 shots on goal.
Napanee also got a goal from Ryan Gibson as well. In addition, Napanee received assists from Brodie Butt, Riley Steeves, Justynn Steven, and Chad Caskenette, who each chipped in one.
The Pirates were helped by Riley Reynolds, who finished with one goal. Reynolds scored on the power play 5:04 into the third period to make the score 3-3. Picton had taken the advantage when the Raiders' Nicolas Schuler got sent off for interference. Nate Kellar assisted on the tally. Picton additionally got points from Mitch Burke, who also racked up one goal and one assist to lead the team in points. Mitch Thompson also scored for Picton. More assists for Picton came via James Pero, who had two and TJ Patterson and Nick Devito, who contributed one each.
Cameron Parr rejected 17 shots on goal for Napanee. The Raiders incurred 20 minutes in penalty time with five minors. Charles Grimard recorded 34 saves for the Pirates. Picton incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors.
