West Virginia University Junior Andrew Caridi is preparing for his second season as the voice of the ACHA Division I Mountaineers. Last season, the journalism major worked with WVU hockey to build a quality web based game broadcast that would bring Mountaineer hockey to fans across the world. Last season's broadcast schedule included all of the team's home broadcasts along with select road trips and CHMA playoffs. While knowledgeable in many sports, Caridi calls hockey his "first love" among his numerous interests. His passion for the sport of hockey and for West Virginia University is evident in his broadcasts, which combine exciting play by play with insighful commentary. Caridi, the son of Mountaineer football and basketball broadcaster Tony Caridi, appears destined to follow in his father's footsteps.

This season, WVU hockey fans unable to attend games in person at the Morgantown Ice Arena can watch all 17 home games live via Livestream, beginning Friday September 11th, when the Mountaineers open the 2015-16 season against the Alabama Crimson Tide. Caridi and the Mountaineers will also be broadcasting numerous road games. Stay tuned to www.wvuhockey.org for announcements on road game broadcasts. Livestream broadcasts are provided free of charge by clicking on the Livestream link on the team website (www.wvuhockey.org). Similar to last season, Caridi will be sharing the booth with a variety of hockey experts, including current and former Mountaineer players. Livestream braodcasts of WVU hockey are directed by former Mountaineer hockey standout Mark Brossman, who currently serves as the team's Internet Communications Director.
