The American Hockey Institute is excited to announce the addition of Mykul Haun to the New England Wolves family. Mykul Haun will begin his time with the American Hockey Institute immediately as Head Coach of the New England Wolves Independent/International team as well as assisting with strength & conditioning and directing the 18U/16U programs. Coach Haun takes over for Coach Brett Tryder who is assuming the position of General Manager of the Wolves’ home rink and training facility, the Waterville Valley Ice Arena. Coach Haun brings an extensive resume to the AHI New England Wolves program. Most recently coach Haun has owned and operated his own hockey development business in New York and Connecticut. Sniper Academy Hockey emphasized both on and off ice player advancement of the total hockey player utilizing multifaceted training techniques. In conjunction to his business; for the last three seasons coach Haun has been the an assistant coach with the New York Apple Core of the Eastern Hockey League as well as the head coach for the Apple Core / Westchester Express Tier 1 U16 team. Mykul was also the head strength & conditioning for the organization. Coach Haun is no stranger to the New Hampshire North Country. Following his 3 year junior career in the Eastern Junior Hockey League Mykul moved on to a stellar 4 year career at Plymouth State University where he was a 4 year letter winner and the recipient of the John C. Foley Leadership Award presented by the PSU athletic department. He is a 2007 graduate of Plymouth State University of New Hampshire, graduating Cum Laude with a BS, Physical Education, and Concentration in Exercise Science. After a 2 year minor Professional playing career Mykul embarked on his coaching career in 2009.
