New England Wolves forward Collin Malone has committed to Daniel Webster College for the fall of 2015.  The 5’9, 155 lb native of Sanford, Florida is a speedy forward with a high motor who excels on the penalty kill.  “Collin is a stalwart defensive player who embraced his role checking our opponents top line”, said Coach Steve Jacobs.  “He was first off the bench on the penalty kill and excelled in that role with his passion and love of the challenge.  As coaches we felt confident in his abilities, due to his preparation and unselfishness, to perform in his role on our team”.

“I would like to thank God for all the great things he has done for me in my life”, states Malone.  “I wouldn’t be here without him or my wonderful parents and sister.  My parents are the most loving and generous people I know and have played the biggest part in my success today.  I am also so grateful for my coaches from the New England Wolves Organization, Steve Jacobs, Jon Fontas, Jay Gallant and Ryan Durocher.  Without these coaches I wouldn’t be the player I am today.  I am a kid from sunny Sanford Florida who discovered hockey by rollerblading in the driveway.  Ever since my first stride in a pair of skates I knew I wanted to play college hockey.  I am very excited to finally have my opportunity to do just that at Daniel Webster College”.
