DeAngellis nets hat trick, leads LaPiana Penn Trafford JV1 to 8-2 win over Carbonara Baldwin JV1

Carbonara Baldwin JV1 could not stop LaPiana Penn Trafford JV1's Anthony DeAngellis, who tallied a hat trick in an 8-2 win.

DeAngellis notched his first tally 2:31 into the first period. He then added goals at 4:17 into the first and at 7:59 into the third.

The win by LaPiana Penn Trafford JV1 clinched the best of three series at 2-0.

Josh Hirst also scored for LaPiana Penn Trafford JV1. In addition, LaPiana Penn Trafford JV1 received assists from Hailey Adamik, who had two and Annie Lipinski and Connor Mowry, who contributed one each.

Carbonara Baldwin JV1 was led by Cade Gnazzo, who tallied two goals. Gnazzo scored the first of his two goals at 3:33 into the third period to make the score 6-1 LaPiana Penn Trafford JV1. Gnazzo's next tally made the score 6-2 LaPiana Penn Trafford JV1 with 15:12 left in the third period. Michael Berta provided the assist. More assists for Carbonara Baldwin JV1 came via Anthony DiLucia, who had one.

LaPiana Penn Trafford JV1 incurred four minutes in penalty time with two minors. Carbonara Baldwin JV1 incurred 12 minutes in penalty time with six minors.
