This year’s Gold Glove awards will go to Justin Reed of the Colts and Oscar Garcia of the Cats and Roger Bernal of the Wings’. Reed finished with a fielding percentage of .987 while Garcia finished with a .967 fielding percentage.

This year, the Manager of the Year award was no debate. After an average 36-44 season in Chris Paterson's first year with the Wings' it's safe to say Paterson has turned the tide. Paterson led the Wings to not only a ULB title for the first time since the 2000 season but put together one of the greatest teams in WhiteWings history. Chris will take home his third professional championship as a manager and his third manager of the year award.

As for the ULB MVP like Paterson there was no debate here. Roger Bernal (Short Stop) of the Wings' will take home the top honor. Bernal a second year pro gave his skip something to be proud of. Roger finished second in hits with 94, while driving in 35 RBI and finished with a .301 average. Bernal a San Antonio, Texas native and product of the University of Texas Pan American in Edinburg, Texas. Bernal playing in 76 games for the Wings this season was the anchor of the defense. “Rog” was the clear cut M.V.P with 32 multi-hit games and seven games with three hits or more. Bernal teamed up with second baseman Jason Merjano, and the tandem displayed one the best middle infield’s in Independent baseball.
