Mets 17U IF Jesse Elliott and SS Ryohei Suzuki along with Mets 16U LHP Niall Windeler and C Andrew Yerzy will join 16 other players that will represent Ontario at the Baseball Canada Cup to take place August 6-11, 2014 in Saskatoon, SK.  The Canada Cup is a tournament run by Baseball Canada for 17U National championship.  The process of selection for this team began at the end of May with an open tryout for all players that were eligible. 

In July, a secondary camp of approximately 40 players took place and after that camp, 20 players were selected to represent Ontario. 

Many Mets have played prominent roles at the Canada Cup, including last year when Tyler Dobie, Ellis Gerussi-Turner, Zach Pop, Ryohei Suzuki all helped Ontario capture a silver medal
