The Wachusett Dirt Dawgs (12-21) continued to pile up the runs on Saturday, scoring three runs in the last three innings, on the way to a 16-7 landslide win over the Old Orchard Beach Raging Tide (10-22) at Doyle Field.

The Wachusett Dirt Dawgs scored five runs in the third on the Wachusett Dirt Dawgs scored in the third on an RBI single by Thomas Buonopane, a sacrifice fly by Kevin Marciano, a hit by pitch, and a solo home run by Mattingly Romanin.

Buonopane racked up four RBIs on two hits for the Wachusett Dirt Dawgs.

Aaron Wilson had a hot bat for the Old Orchard Beach Raging Tide. Wilson went 3-5 and scored three runs. He singled in the third and fifth innings.

Dan Ditusa got the win, running his season record to 3-2. He allowed three runs over five innings. Ditusa struck out three, walked two and gave up six hits.

Dakota Edwards (0-3) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just two innings, walked two, struck out none, and allowed five runs.
