Hampton Little League is hosting Pitch Hit and Run on Monday, May 4, 2015. Registration begins at 5:30 PM at Hampton Park.

Pitch, Hit and Run is the official skills competition of Major League Baseball.

The Major League Baseball (MLB) Pitch, Hit and Run (PHR) is a free one-day skills competition for boys and girls ages 7-14 that emphasizes the fun elements of baseball and softball, which allows children to showcase their pitching, hitting and running abilities. For the fourth straight year, MLB also will have a nationwide girls softball division for girls age 7-14.

The top participants in both the boys and girls divisions can advance through four (4) levels of competition, including team championships at Major League ballparks, and the National Finals at the 2013 Major League Baseball All-Star Game in New York this July.

Children compete in four age groups: 7-8, 9-10, 11-12 and 13-14.
