(Mississauga, ON) –Heat up and feel the energy this summer by attending the MegaCity Power Summer Pro-Am! Power Basketball and MegaCity Basketball are proud to bring you a professional summer league at Ryerson University's Kerr Hall from June 23 to July 23. The Pro-Am will be a opportunity for high level basketball players to compete against each other while showcasing their talents to general managers, coaches & scouts.

President of MegaCity Basketball, Jesse Asido states: “Not long ago, our home grown talents would look to play south of the border or overseas in pursuit of  becoming a professional basketball player. With the National Basketball League of Canada (NBL) in their 3rd season and expanding at such a rapid pace, the opportunity is finally here in Canada for our players and coaches. This Pro-Am which will be held in the heart of Toronto, presents a much needed platform for our players and coaches that want to take their careers to the next level.”

The Power Pro-Am roster will be headlined by Canadian National Team representatives as well as NBL players and several international competitors.

Fans are welcome to attend. Admission is $2. Students and children under 12 are eligible for free admission.
