Real Phoenix Announce Coaching Staff

Arizona’s newest PASL Pro Indoor Team, Real Phoenix has announced their coaching staff. CEO Rosario Lopez understands that to build a successful club, you need to have successful and talented experience around you.

By reaching out to different members of the Phoenix soccer community Rosario has brought in a range of talent that features a coaching staff that has years of professional experience as well as years of coaching experience.

CEO Rosario Lopez, General Manager Mike Cudmore, and Head Coach Kevin Grub have all played professional indoor and outdoor soccer for many of the Phoenix based teams.

Also brought into the fold is trainer Lionel Baisy who will be working with every team and media relations manager Heber Valenzuela.

Bio for each staff member:

Rosario – Played for Arizona Cotton, he also took the first ever team from Arizona to the Futsal Champions in 2012. Founder of the very successful Arizona Saguaros Volleyball Club and member of the Phoenix Police.

 

Mike – Grew up playing for local Phoenix youth clubs Sereno and CISCO where he won state Champions and 1 National Championship. Played for the Arizona Saguaros, Arizona Inferno and Prove It. Captain of the Fire Department.

 

Kevin Grub – Played for Yavapai College, Arizona Cotton, Arizona Saguaros, Prove It and Arizona Sandsharks. Has 26 years of coaching experience that include youth soccer ages 6-19, 4 different High Schools in Arizona, 4 years Glendale Community College and took Prove It (women’s team) to Nationals last year placing in 2nd.

 

Rodolfo Hernandez – Brings 33 years of experience to the team. Played with players from many different levels, from indoor players to World Cup players. In the Mitre National Indoor Soccer Championship his team Serbian SOKO reached 3rd place.

 

Lionel – Attended Arizona State earning a B.S. in Sports Science. Past experience working for Henry Cejudo U.S. Olympic Gold Medalist, UFC camps with Randy Couture, Forrest Griffin, John Gunderson, University of Southern California summer football training camp, Under Armour top 200, Nike Elite and ESPN-NIKE SPARQ Combines and more.

Heber Valenzuela – Played locally for Phoenix College, Grand Canyon University and Arizona Saguaros
