Final Score: Millersville 2 -- Seton Hall 0
Date: November 8, 2025
Location: Codey Arena, West Orange, NJ
The Seton Hall Pirates dropped a 2–0 decision to Millersville on Saturday night at Codey Arena, in a game that once again showcased their defensive strength, but also highlighted their continued struggles generating offense.
Millersville capitalized early in the second on the power play to take a 1–0 lead, and despite several defensive stands, the Pirates couldn’t find a way to respond. Seton Hall’s defensive zone play was the standout of the night, with the team recording over 20 blocked shots, including an incredible 11 blocks by captain Ryan Uhlhorn.
While the Pirates’ back end and goaltending were rock solid, issues in the neutral and offensive zones prevented them from sustaining pressure or creating high-danger scoring chances. Missed passes and turnovers in transition stalled momentum and allowed Millersville to control tempo for much of the game.
A late insurance goal sealed the win for the Marauders, as they improve to 4-2-1 on the year, and Seton Hall drops to 2-7-0. Still, the Pirates know they’ll need to find ways to generate offense and finish plays; both to relieve their senior goalie Joe Salvador and to start turning these strong defensive efforts into wins.
Seton Hall looks to regroup and rediscover their scoring touch as they continue their homestand against Drexel next Saturday.
