ABCCL Announces GameChanger as Official Scoring Partner
Date: Sep 25, 2023
Pitching in this game was the headline, as the only run of the game was scored on a stolen base by Patrick Cettina on a ball that got by the catcher. Despite the loss, Matt Crawford was excellent on the mound for the Gamers, surrendering only one run and three hits over six innings of work. CPBA’s pitching staff held the Gamers to only two hits all game, as Joseph Argenziano started the game with 3 innings of one hit baseball. Max Oliver then came into pitch for CPBA, and shut down the Gamers, as he did not allow a hit in three innings on the hill. Evan Thomas got the save for CPBA, as he allowed one hit in the seventh inning but kept his nerve to close out the game.
For the Gamers, the only players to register a hit were Harrison Otto and Ryan Kehoe, who both singled. Cettina, Rossomando, and Myers each logged hits for CPBA. Looking forward to next week, CPBA will look to extend their 4 game unbeaten streak to 5 on Tuesday when they are up against Frazier Baseball. In addition, the Gamers will look to bounce back against Langan Baseball also on Tuesday.
